How do I put on / take off my mask?

Wash / sanitize your hands before wearing mask.

Put elastic loops over ear

Tighten the nose piece, pull under your chin.

Remove mask at ear loops. Wash / sanitize hands after removing.

How do I clean my mask?

Masks can be machine washed and tumble dried on high heat.

Masks can also be boiled for 3 minutes and line dried.

Iron on pleats to keep shape.

How often do I clean my mask?

You should treat the mask as contaminated and wash / dry high after each use.

If you leave the house regularly you should have more than one mask.

What is my mask made of?

It has 3 layers of 100% cotton

The earloops are elastic.

There is a small bit of plastic coated tin above your nose.

I lost my paper instructions can I get a new one?

What if my mask breaks?

There are going to be broken nose wires and snapped elastic. Get in touch and I will send you a new one.

If you would like your old one fixed you can send it back and I will repair it for you.

Will you make me a mask?

Yes, fill out this form I will send you up to 5 masks.

I am one person and there are no guarantees on delivery time. If you need a quicker mask try Etsy.

This project will not scale so please do not share on social media, and please do not share with too many people.

How much does each mask cost to make?

About $1 worth of raw material and 20 minutes of labor.

Elastic, fabric, nose bridges, and thread must be bought in large quantities to be efficient.

Shipping costs $3-8 depending on speed and number of masks.

Sunken costs include sewing machine, tools, square footage, electricity, and coffee.

How do you fund this?

With my own bank account and donations from family, friends, and strangers.
